    Moon & Sun in the November cold
    Moon & Sun will make a couple of performances in Holland and Sweden. The Holland shows will be with her "regular" setting with players and singers from mighty The Session, whilst on the Stockholm gig on the 15th of November the artist will team up with members from no less than the "patches and pins" punks of Förmögenhet. No way you wanna miss that!

    Moon & Sun - Apocalypso 7" (OSC2N 8)
    The Moon & Sun - Aposcalypso seven inch will be released at the opening of The Last Session at Vlaams Cultuurhuis De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam the 18th of September 2009.

    "Sometimes day, sometimes night. Accompanied by crickets, dogs, sirens, cars, birds, frogs, church bells & horses; the recordings by Moon & Sun took place in the garden of the IBB house on Curacao. Constantly guarded, distracted and in league with Bruno and Tequila. Lonesome vibrations of gloom and Caribbean tunes interlaced to a stream of Apocalypso music."

    Moon & Sun is the musical project of Monica Tormell.

    The Last Session Exhibition
    The Last Session is a project by The Session that exists of a publication, a radio station, a cinema program, three parties and an exhibition. The Last Session will take place at Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond in Amsterdam from September 18th until October 18th 2009.

    Thematically The Last Session focuses on the aesthetics of endism. Endism in our culture embraces many forms, and partially touches everyone’s life in its connection with death. Endism is an attitude as much as a myth, a sense of foreboding as much as a given story, an orientation to ultimate concerns as much as a commitment to a specific end time narrative. Endism describes the future location and deepest yearnings of the self. Endism is process and vision. It cuts against all logic, is usually mystical, and may become magical. Themes related to The Last Session are: fear, hope, apocalypse, conflict, war, loss, despair, disappearance, mythology, belief, aliens, UFO’s, survival, psychology, psychoanalysis, sociology, existentialism, suicide, sects…

    The Last Session was curated by Jan van Woensel.

    Canell & Watkins


    Nina Canell and Robin Watkins are two artists/musicians based in Dublin, Ireland.

    Rather than operating within the traditional format of a band, the projects by Canell & Watkins take on various shapes and forms, allowing them to move freely from live improvisation to sculptural installations, found sounds and structured song writing. As a consequence, the name of this duo continuously shifts along with the intention and context of each project. When performing they integrate their diverse practices into a dense and highly idiosyncratic live set.

    Kompjotr Eplektrika


    Kompjotr Eplektrika is the collaboration of the cooperative collection of alias for Mats Björk.

    Assembling circuits as shown in the translations of figures found in the previously unknown cavities under the Egyptian and Mayan Pyramides, Monsieur Elektrigato tries to recreate the hymns of the ancient star travellers. In addition, Den F.O.E works in traditional voodoo culture towards a somewhat unclear horizon of the free spirit, while Kapten Myrslok is researching the truth of real krautnoise (both for Kompjotr Eplektrika and as a part of the MY FUMCA crew).

    The occasional line-up for Kompjotr Eplektrika differs from time to time and possesses a wide field of unstable oscillating combinations. Therefore the eclectic waves captured in the secret studio chamber known as Eplektrik Audio, range from booty blowing technothrash powerstructures to dissonant high frequent sound sculpturing, unfolding your ears to the sun.

    Luva


    Luva is the music playing alias of Gustav Karlsson.

    Luva began his compositional career following in the footsteps of his colourless sleep persona Nattdjur i Tyg by writing dry melodies, green loops and transparent maraccas perucussion beats, without knowing anything about music. Luvas skill to "not know", but to listen carefully, brings his music closer to states like; sleep without dreaming, swim deaf under hot water and bright light in the eye, etc.

    Majessic Dreams


    During the cold war the Swedish secret police developed a special paranormal communications research team with the code name "Majessic Dreams". Hidden in the southern forests they worked with spiritual mediums, the inner radio and psychic translation.

    However the discovery of a mystical Love Enhancer and the first prototypes of The Consciousness Connector, lead to a massive cover up with both SÄPO, the KGB and CIA hunting down all members of the team. Now humanity once again has the opportunity to share the knowledge of the Majessic Dreams as the children to two of its original members has formed a new cell to spread the word.

    They started out three years ago in Sweden but now operate in exile from a hidden love nest in Copenhagen, Denmark. To be able to maintain their parent's research, Majessic Dreams have chosen to hide the message mainly in the frequencies of the acoustic guitar and female vocals.

    The contemporary members also discovered that the best way was to code it in beautiful and honest songs about relations, love memories and the fear of loss. As these sounds happened to be very listenable, the record label Oscillatone was contacted for the release of two Compact Discs ("Listen to the Moon" and "Majessic Dreams" both 2005). In the year 2006 Majessic Dreams signed to Danish label Ponyrec and the project now enters phase 3, starting with the release of a CD/LP early 2008.

    Mustafa Et Monique


    Mustafa Et Monique is an ensemble of players and singers dedicated to the popular music era of the 1980-90s featuring historically authentic instruments and performance techniques.

    Free structured hot-bop duo Mustafa Et Monique, formed in a dream like state under northen lights. Early experiments with the reversion of thoughts drenched in feedback and delay, perceived an uninterrupted stream of fantastic pictures and intense kaleidoscopic play of shapes and colours. Pure beatless sounds and simple acoustic melodies were extracted and transposed on surreal tape-sensations. The music itself seemed jarringly different to the ears of the public, who were confronted with these overwhelming expressions, sometimes melancholy happy, more often racing heavy and fragmented.
