The first release from the fantastic Swedish pop-explosion Mustafa Et Monique is a six track 10" vinyl record. The Houdini Aubergine EP is a fuzzy excursion that takes off in Brian Wilsons garden while checking his vegetables. Wait to be suddenly hit by a monster surf with swirling melodies and harmonies that will bring you out tripping in a reversed Eno-land.
Proceed beyond the coloured valleys and fields of a silver dream, catching up with the speed of sound in a surging merry-go-round of intensity. Sixteen minutes and one flipside later your safe back in the garden of delightful enjoyment! The debut from these astounding Swedes is a lo-fi knockout. An all-engulfing battle between winding guitars and heavy drumming. Still with gentle melodies wrapping up their detuned magic!

The fabulous colours delivered by Mats and Jessica Majessic hits us in waves of pure love as we float through spheres and black star galaxies. Subtle melodies reveal the texture in the heat of the sound and extend our dream into twenty-one minutes of sweeping harmonies. As we smoothly lean back the band examines the refractions and dislocated frequencies of echoes from 1930's country, suggestive drones, jazzy cut-up's and beautiful brittle vocals. Majessic Dreams emphatically paint their skies in thick layers, using fragments from a wide musical spectre. The abstracted tunes on this six track CDEP are minimal and close, yet still way out there expanding the periphery!

The New Heat/Obscured by Light is two projects by Nina Canell and Robin Watkins. The New Heat takes the shape of five slow songs which employ sleepy singing birds and magnetic song-writing. The eerie vocals and swirly guitars are integrated with droned organs, weightless drumming and various other sonic snippets. Obscured by Light derived from an object-based sound installation commissioned for the exhibition Obscured by Clouds (Temple Bar Gallery & Studios, Dublin 2004). Organs, sleep-machines and various prepared instruments/objects are weaved into one continuous 20-minute spectra-animated pop drone.

Luftkluster/Luftfluks is the second album in an ongoing series of LP editions by Canell & Watkins. Following The New Heat/Obscured by Light projects, the new album further expands the duo's joint commitment to generate subjective fluctuations between structured and free-form melodies. Combining found objects, instruments and other analogue mechanics with organ, guitar, voice and custom built percussion, the LP is as volatile as the material it is made from.
The open songs of Luftkluster/Luftfluks hover in midair, occasionally interrupted by angular signals from electro-physiological instruments or the hypnotic humming of a 6.25 meter tape-loop. It flows from vocal interludes to fluxing fluorescent noise, blending rootless percussion with damaged flickers of electric drone organs. The unpredictable nature of Luftkluster/Luftfluks humid melodies exists somewhere in between spontaneity and determinacy; a quiet, ephemeral collage of alternating altitudes.

The Invisible Colours of Do Re Mi is a new compact cassette by the artist Luva - taken alias for composer Gustav M Karlsson - and the latest in a row of sound recordings made public and presented for the masses in a varying range of digital mediums as well as magnetic tapes.
During his two thousand and eight winter hibernation the composer was exposed for and experienced the following sensations, which - for your full enjoyment - has been preserved, translated and interpreted into eight rhytmical sound pieces:
"The colours inside the hood are visible, but hidden behind strange whirls of 'light'. The moment you find and approach them, the tune starts to shift in structure and adapt to your own scale and temperature. Small unstable sound-elements of the least visible colours, modulates and gain softness in the revolutionary apparatus of the hood, and finally - through the suggestive phones of singularity - projects its invisibility in a repetitive twitter of Do Re Mi."

Oneirological experiment #3 (Peter Henning), excerpts from introductory research notes: "Evoking Fableous Ocean; aim: to catch the fleeting essence of L sound below the threshold of conscious perception. [...] Pressing the play button, already lying down - limbs slowly softening, focus descending inwards [...]"
Soulful jazz ballads juiced through cheap chorus pedals - sounds of brooding doves mutating with prismatic calypso tunes - urban planning methods applied to audio sequencing. The entity known and revered as Luva is already famed from two previous audio cassettes, though expert critics unanimously agree on this, the third installment, being it's most refined effort yet to have duplicated on magnetic tape. From the initial exposures of hidden geometrical configurations and soaring tropical dream cities, through the tetractystic hymnal of the sequel, we now find ourselves scuba diving the methaporic underwaters of coralline safe havens and oceanous depths.
Thoroughly researching the turquoise Caribbean beachscapes of the mind, Luva dishes out a series of mind-bending aquatic jams conjugated with tender sampler studies and maritime electronics. (Meanwhile, the secretive Do Re Mi sleeps tightly under care of pink sands and lush summer breezes...) The hits relentlessly keep on coming - implicit bossa breaks keeping the sweat up while subtly implementing Luva's interstellar pop music into your perceptive faculties. These are true hydrospheric gold sounds tailored for loose t-shirts and never-ending streams of rosé.

Kompjotr Eplektrika
Kompjotr Eplektrika is the collaboration of the cooperative collection of alias for Mats Björk. Assembling circuits as shown in the translations of figures found in the previously unknown cavities under the Egyptian and Mayan Pyramides, Monsieur Elektrigato tries to recreate the hymns of the ancient star travellers. In addition, Den F.O.E works in traditional voodoo culture towards a somewhat unclear horizon of the free spirit, while Kapten Myrslok is researching the truth of real krautnoise (both for Kompjotr Eplektrika and as a part of the MY FUMCA crew). The occasional line-up for Kompjotr Eplektrika differs from time to time and possesses a wide field of unstable oscillating combinations. Luva
Luva is the music playing alias of Gustav Karlsson. Luva began his compositional career following in the footsteps of his colourless sleep persona Nattdjur i Tyg by writing dry melodies, green loops and transparent maraccas perucussion beats, without knowing anything about music. Majessic Dreams
During the cold war the Swedish secret police developed a special paranormal communications research team with the code name "Majessic Dreams". Hidden in the southern forests they worked with spiritual mediums, the inner radio and psychic translation. However the discovery of a mystical Love Enhancer and the first prototypes of The Consciousness Connector, lead to a massive cover up with both SÄPO, the KGB and CIA hunting down all members of the team. Now humanity once again has the opportunity to share the knowledge of the Majessic Dreams as the children to two of its original members has formed a new cell to spread the word. They started out three years ago in Sweden but now operate in exile from a hidden love nest in Copenhagen, Denmark. To be able to maintain their parent's research, Majessic Dreams have chosen to hide the message mainly in the frequencies of the acoustic guitar and female vocals. The contemporary members also discovered that the best way was to code it in beautiful and honest songs about relations, love memories and the fear of loss. As these sounds happened to be very listenable, the record label Oscillatone was contacted for the release of two Compact Discs ("Listen to the Moon" and "Majessic Dreams" both 2005). Mustafa Et Monique is an ensemble of players and singers dedicated to the popular music era of the 1980-90s featuring historically authentic instruments and performance techniques. Free structured hot-bop duo Mustafa Et Monique, formed in a dream like state under northen lights. Early experiments with the reversion of thoughts drenched in feedback and delay, perceived an uninterrupted stream of fantastic pictures and intense kaleidoscopic play of shapes and colours. Pure beatless sounds and simple acoustic melodies were extracted and transposed on surreal tape-sensations.
